Our Sustainability Pledge

We are committed to sustainability principles, which are embedded in our practices. Sustainable features of our operation include:
 

  • Self-producing most of our electricity through wind and solar power generated on our land
  • Using electricity-powered equipment whenever possible
  • Planting 50 to 300 native trees each year
  • Building a pond to support bird life
  • Predator trapping to protect bird life
  • Utilizing sheep grazing rather than herbicide while minimising the use of petrol-fuelled mowers
  • Only using fungicide sprays in our grove, with no use of pesticides
  • Minimising water usage
